Mariah Fair-Jones
June 3, 2016

Mrs. Mariah Fair-Jones, 82, of N. Syracuse, departed this life on Friday at University Hospital.

Mariah was born on October 7, 1933 in West Mississippi. Mariah was a resident of Syracuse for over 50 years. Mariah has made many important decisions in her life and one of them was when she decided to dedicate her life to Jehovah by baptism on April 23, 1983.

She always participated in Christian meetings and in field ministry as much as possible. Another important decision she made is when she married her husband Paul Jones of 23 years. Mariah was a loving, caring and dedicated wife and mother. She loved spending time with family, friends and especially all of her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mariah always had a smile and has touched all of us in many different ways and she will forever be in our hearts. She was loved dearly and will be missed by all who knew her.

Mariah leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Paul Jones, 3 daughters; Easter Bradford, Charlene G. Fair, Perstephanie (Anthony) Dexter, 3 sons; Sylvester (Oceanna) Fair, Paul D. Jones, Pernell D. Jones, 2 sisters, Ruby Lee McCellan of Mississippi, Ella Eva (Leon) Thurman of Iowa, 2 sisters-in-law, Tillie Jones and Edith (Charlie) Queen. She was predeceased by her father, Jim Wright, mother, Lizzie Whitehead Wright, 2 sisters; Charlene Parker and Bertha Wright, 2 brothers; Willie C. Wright, Jimmy Lewis Wright and grandson, Roger Bernard Bradford, Jr. She also leaved to cherish her memory 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, one nephew Otha O'Neal and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday 1:30 pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1900 W. Fayette St., Syracuse.
